Sponsorship covers basic needs such as food, anti parasitic treatments and general care. We encourage part-sponsorships, so please ask if you would like to donate a smaller monthly amount.

Featured Dog - Luna

Do take a look at this delightful youngster, she’s just about ready for adoption.

Luna was found abandoned and in terrible condition by a friend of the Foundation and brought to LIFE after a vet trip confirming she's already spayed. We have built her up physically but with so many rescued dogs on site, it was hard to find the extra time this shy dog needed. That is until volunteer extraordinaire Stephanie arrived...

Luna is now ready for the right forever home.

Luna is here at Lucy’s LIFE in Bulgaria looking for adoption. She’s young, rapidly filling out but will stay on the much smaller to medium size. So far seen to be good with children and cats too.

LUISA

She is a fully grown young husky-collie cross, lead trained and very friendly. The Husky side has developed quite strongly in terms of a high prey drive and pack attitude which means like her three remaining siblings she is not safe around cats and can't share accommodation with non-pack member dogs. This girl is of a Bull Breed type, she’s made a terrific recovery since being rescued from where she'd been abandoned on a rubbish tip. It isn’t easy for us to find a home for her as her breed is banned in UK and other countries. Nelkie is very amenable and loves her walks.

Big, black, young and very handsome Husky cross Collie is Moby. He is built more like a Collie but operates more like his mum, a Husky. He's fairly confident but not wildly excitable which is quite useful when he's handled and for training purposes. A smart and affectionate lad. Originally came to LIFE with a neck wound after being attacked with an axe! Since his wounds have healed and he’s such a forgiving boy! He’s a fabulous kind dog but still needs his confidence continuing to build up. Good on the lead, a quieter home is sought for Rex without young children.
