Do take a look at this handsome gentle big boy Luff, his name is Bulgarian for Lion.

Absolutely not to be missed if you are looking for a largish companion dog with a long coat to regularly groom. He has personality in perfection and really is charismatic with a lovely hint of initial shyness.

Lucy was first alerted to Luff who was a very skinny balding dog two villages away two years ago. Luckily she had fantastic and highly experienced vet nurse Anne-Marie McGivern staying at LIFE at the time and she worked miracles on this injured lion of a dog with a great big soft heart.

After she left staff at LIFE continued to follow her instructions for treatment and lo and behold a very handsome Luff began to appear as his coat grew in and his fear of humans, who's always chased him away before, turned into delight in kind company.

Luff is now looking for a home, someone lucky is going to get the most gorgeous gentle giant as a forever friend and family member.
